Sickness & Distress

~ April 20, 2006 ~

Here's the latest update on Dave! He is home and doing well! He is eager to get back in the saddle, but the doctor says not yet, Dave! So he is spending time playing with his remote control Road King, and the word is he is chasing Suzie all over the house with it! Great therapy, Haha!!

The latest update on Dave is that he is doing very well at New England Rehab and may be home tomorrow! He says he is looking forward to flipping burgers at the Show 'n Shine on the 30th!

Suzie reports that Dave "continues to recruit for ALR at every opportunity!"

    Dave Hubbard (ALR Assistant Director)

Dave suffered a stroke recently and is recovering at Maine Med. The latest report from his wife Suzie is that he will be transferred soon to the New England Rehab Center, on Brighton Avenue in Portland.

Suzie writes: "He continues to improve and we are optimistic for a full recovery.  Please continue to pray for him, he says he can feel the prayers and he enjoys hearing from you and I take great comfort from knowing that we have so many friends in addition to our families."

A card has been sent from the Legion Riders, and our prayers are with Dave & Suzie, and the entire family.

Dave, the Riders and everyone at Post 202 wish you a full and speedy recovery!
